Architectural Photography Workshop & Exhibition
URBAN FRAME: DUAL ARCHITECTURE

The Erasmus student exchange program inspired me and opened my mind to new opportunities. Upon returning home, my friend Birutė Petruškaitė and I decided to organize a unique architectural photography workshop and exhibition. Our goal was to invite architecture students to "dive deeper" into the art of architectural photography, and thus, "Urban Frame" (Miesto kadras) was born. Our Facebook page now serves as a hub for architectural photography news and events.

The poster above invited architecture and interior design students to our introductory lecture. Renowned Lithuanian architects and photographers, including Audrius Ambrasas, Tomas Grunskis, Gintautas Trimakas, and Raimondas Urbakavičius, shared their unique perspectives on the intersection of architecture and photography. We were thrilled to welcome approximately 180 enthusiasts to the Contemporary Art Center (ŠMC) in Vilnius.

Introductory Event: The workshop challenged participants to select a single architectural work and capture two distinct photographs, each conveying a different emotion or "portrait" of the same building.

Following the submission period, a distinguished jury was tasked with selecting the most exceptional photographs. The jury members included Audrius Ambrasas, Tomas Grunskis, Saulius Slavinskas, Gintautas Trimakas, Raimondas Urbakavičius, and Leonas Garbačauskas.
